Welcome to my blog! I am beginning to write in this overwhelmingly public forum to discuss my journey from bank teller/civilian to becoming the nation's most visible, and coveted, transportation official. I hope I will be able to pass along some insight about the commercial airline industry, as well as share some funny stories about how crazy people are. As a geographer, I'm also interested in seeing and traveling to/through the various destinations where my carrier has gates. In other words, I am forewarning you of boring, essay-like posts in which I can dissect the new landscapes I see and cultures I observe. Not to meantion the fact that I am following the 2008 presidential election; however, I anticipate being bored with it about half way through this year, like the rest of America.
As much as I'm excited for this opportunity, I'm sad to leave the bank. There are few words to describe the crazy, wacked out kiddies that I spend my days with. But I do love them all dearly and I am a better person for having spent the last 8 months of my life with them.
I leave for flight school in four days. Everytime I see the mess in my room, I think to myself "hmm... I should pack... later." Tomorrow just might be the day to begin to cram 10 pairs of shoes, 3 business suites, and a month and a 1/2's worth of clothing and sundry items into one, I repeat, ONE suitcase.
Or maybe I'll do it later.
Off I go into the wild blue yonder, and I'm glad to be sharing it with all of you :)

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
