Best part of my job? Its always a sunny day at 35,000 ft. The following describes my life, it's glamour, and the glory of being a flight attendant for a legacy airline. You're jealous... I can tell.

I think I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
Friday, I checked off hike the Appalachian Trail from the bucket list. I had set an alarm to pick up a trip at 4. EDI didn't happen, nor did Starburst Strawberry water ice at Rita's but that's a different story for another time.
At 9, when I checked my schedule, there was a Milan trip on my line. MILAN. With J. I almost fell off my couch!
We went to the Duomo for the rosaries, followed by mass. They were hearing confession too. I sat in awe and wonder and practically had to pinch myself to believe I was actually there.
Then there was gelato. So delicious.
I had pistachio; J had cream and hazelnut.
We met up with a few people from the crew and had dinner at a Yelp find a few blocks away. I had pear and cheese tortellini, followed by lamb and potatoes. Tears. Of. Joy.
Considering this is my last official 'pour the cokes' trip, I am so thankful that I got to go out with quite a bang!! I have this week or so to pack and prepare for Peru, and then I'm back to being a desk jockey.
It's gonna be good.

Sandwich Time!
Glasgow is a known slam-click layover. The beds are amazing, the weather usually sucks, and there's a reasonable discount on food both restaurant and room service. Having been my second one this month, I was anticipating much of the same - M&S run and heating food up in the crew room microwave. Boy was I wrong! We had a great crew that wanted to hang out. So to keep it cheap, we decided to do build your own sandwich and bought a huge spread - deli meats, cheeses, baguettes, hummus and olives! It was amazing. Together, almost all 8 of us had dinner in the crew room and had the leftovers on the way back to Newark.
If only it was a picnic under the Eiffel Tower ;)
