War Vets Make Me Emote

I'm standing in Dulles airport, in baggage claim, emoting. There is a parade of war vets who just arrived from Montana (there's a big flag), and are being greeted by applause, a 5 piece band playing patriotic tunes, and the thanks and praise these wonderful men deserve.

Thank God there are tissues in my purse.

Come to find out, they are on their way to the WWII monument during the government shut down.  More about their story here.
